Star Jasmine, also know as Trachelospermum jasminoides and Confederate Jasmine, is a versatile and highly attractive evergreen, twinning climber.
Star Jasmine shows glossy, dark green leaves. In the summer, this climber produces beautiful pure white, star-shaped, highly scented flowers which get stronger in the evening to attract night-pollinating insects.
During autumn, the dark green leaves transition into rich red and bronze hues, which really add visual appeal to any space.
Trachelospermum jasminoides thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and can be planted in either full sun or partial shade. Half hardy down to around -5°C, it may require some winter protection.
Confederate Jasmine can reach up to around 8 metres in height and spread to around 4-8 metres over 20 years, making it an excellent choice for covering walls, trellises, or pergolas.
Star Jasmine’s dense foliage and beautiful flowers create the perfect display, adding vertical interest to your space.
Trachelospermum jasminoides is excellent for introducing scent and beauty in any garden; be it city, countryside or roof-top terrace.
