Thuja occidentalis 'Rheingold' originates from eastern North America. It is a conical shaped conifer which is recognised for its gold coloured foliage. 'Rheingold' is an extremely popular plant bringing warmth to the garden, even in the dead winter. This conifer performs well with heathers and heaths but goes looks particularly good with darker conifers.
