Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors beyond our control such as Public Holidays or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to lift bare-rooted trees. In cases such as these, you will be notified.
We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO boxes. A complete address including correct postcode must be provided. Incorrect postcodes cause more delays than omitting the postcode altogether.
Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for orders not received if an incorrect address is provided. It will also be necessary to give us details of where to place items should you be out when the delivery arrives. Mail-Order-Trees cannot be responsible for items lost if we have followed your instructions. A contact telephone number can also be very useful to our courier.
Phlox subulata 'Emerald Cushion' - A Colourful and Spreading Perennial
Phlox subulata 'Emerald Cushion', commonly known as Moss Phlox, is a colourful and spreading perennial that adds a burst of soft pink to lavender-pink flowers to the garden in spring. Perfect for ground cover, rock gardens, and borders, 'Emerald Cushion' brings both beauty and practicality to various garden settings.
The standout feature of Phlox subulata 'Emerald Cushion' is its dense, carpet-like growth. This low-growing, mat-forming plant produces a profusion of soft pink to lavender-pink flowers that create a stunning carpet of colour in the garden during spring. The flowers rise above the needle-like, evergreen foliage, adding a soft texture and visual interest. The plant's spreading habit makes it ideal for filling in gaps, covering slopes, and creating a lush, colourful ground cover.
Caring for Phlox subulata 'Emerald Cushion' is straightforward, making it suitable for gardeners of all experience levels. Plant Moss Phlox in well-drained, moderately fertile soil and ensure it receives plenty of sunlight, as it thrives best in full sun. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods, but avoid waterlogging. To maintain a tidy appearance and encourage dense growth, trim back the foliage after flowering. In late autumn, a light mulch can help protect the plant through winter.
