The Malus 'Red Jade' is a beautiful, small weeping crab apple tree. It features pretty pink-white flowers which open from pink buds and hang delicately from the pendulous branches. The foliage emerges mid-green and remains that colour until autumn; at this time it fades to yellow and bronze before falling. The 'Red Jade' boasts small, spherical, glossy red crab apples which appear in the autumn and last well into winter. The crab apples are great for bringing some life to your winter garden and they are also good for attracting wildlife. This is the ideal tree for year round interest in a garden that is restricted for space.
