Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' is a striking blue conifer which is a really handsome addition to any garden that is large enough to accommodate its width. The tree is evergreen with attractive cones up to about 9cm in length. In its youth, the tree is conical, becoming somewhat flat-topped in later years. The mature size is about 12m tall and 9m wide.
The tree prefers well-drained acidic soil. It is drought tolerant and prefers full sun. It can tolerate really hot regions and high humidity.
This variety originates in the Northern Africa in the Atlas Mountain region.
