Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors beyond our control such as Public Holidays or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to lift bare-rooted trees. In cases such as these, you will be notified.
We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO boxes. A complete address including correct postcode must be provided. Incorrect postcodes cause more delays than omitting the postcode altogether.
Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for orders not received if an incorrect address is provided. It will also be necessary to give us details of where to place items should you be out when the delivery arrives. Mail-Order-Trees cannot be responsible for items lost if we have followed your instructions. A contact telephone number can also be very useful to our courier.
Alchemilla erythropoda - Charming and Compact Perennial
Alchemilla erythropoda, commonly known as Dwarf Lady's Mantle, is a charming and compact perennial that adds a touch of elegance to any garden. This delightful plant is known for its attractive, scalloped foliage and delicate yellow-green flowers. Highly valued by UK gardeners, Alchemilla erythropoda is perfect for borders, rock gardens, and as ground cover, where it brings both beauty and functionality.
The key feature of Alchemilla erythropoda is its appealing foliage. The soft, velvety leaves are scalloped and form neat, compact mounds, providing a lush green backdrop throughout the growing season. In late spring to early summer, clusters of small, yellow-green flowers appear, adding a subtle splash of colour. These blooms are not only visually appealing but also attract beneficial pollinators, enhancing the ecological health of your garden.
Caring for Alchemilla erythropoda is straightforward, making it an excellent choice for gardeners of all skill levels. Plant this dwarf Lady's Mantle in well-drained soil, ensuring it receives plenty of sunlight, though it can also thrive in partial shade. This hardy perennial is drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal watering. Deadheading spent flowers can promote a tidier appearance, and in late autumn, cutting back the foliage will prepare the plant for winter.
