Acer palmatum 'Butterfly' is a large shrub or small-medium sized tree with a maximum height of 11ft. It has small deep-cut grey/green leaves with cream fringes which are slightly tainted with pink when at younger age, before turning red in Autumn. This Japanese maple is ideal for a garden with limited space and it can also be kept in a large container.
