Sorbus commixta is a small tree with upright growing branches when young, spreading with age. Long pointed, sticky, shiny red leaf buds appear in winter which adds a great seasonal interest. Glossy green pinnate leaves turn a beautiful red in the autumn. White flowers in spring are followed by large bunches of red berries.
