Malus 'Gorgeous' is a small tree with arching branches that hold quite large, dark green, shiny leaves. The foliage develops to a yellow/bronze colour which contrasts beautifully with the attractive fruits. There are large flowers, around 3cm across, which are soft pink when they open and whiten with age. The tree fruits profusely, producing bright red coloured crab apples which make a fantastic crab apple jelly. It is certainly is a very appropriately named tree.
