Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors beyond our control such as Public Holidays or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to lift bare-rooted trees. In cases such as these, you will be notified.
We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO boxes. A complete address including correct postcode must be provided. Incorrect postcodes cause more delays than omitting the postcode altogether.
Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for orders not received if an incorrect address is provided. It will also be necessary to give us details of where to place items should you be out when the delivery arrives. Mail-Order-Trees cannot be responsible for items lost if we have followed your instructions. A contact telephone number can also be very useful to our courier.
Acer Rubrum, commonly known as Red Canadian Maple, is a stunning deciduous tree which is highly prized for its rich red foliage, especially during the autumn months.
Red Canadian Maple is a fast-growing, ultimately large, round-headed tree native to North America. Plus, its dense branching makes it a great choice for adding height and structure to your space.
Eye-catching small red flowers appear in the bare branches of Acer Rubrum in the spring. Next comes dark green summer leaves.
But, the real magic to Red Canadian Maple is the scarlet-red and fiery orange leaves in autumn. This seasonal display makes Acer Rubrum one of the most striking and well-loved autumnal trees.
As an adaptable and versatile specimen, Acer Rubrum will perform in many different conditions. However, it thrives in moist, well-drained and mildly acidic soils.
Red Canadian Maple will thrive in full sun or positioned in partial shade. Over 20 years, you can expect a spread of around 4 metres with a height of about 6 metres. However, this giant can reach heights of up to 30 metres after 50 years.
Acer Rubrum is also incredibly hardy and can tolerate varied weather conditions. You can expect it to withstand very cold winters and still deliver those beautiful, crimson displays.
Its dynamic nature makes it a great choice for large gardens, parks or open spaces.
If you’re after a towering tree that showcases beautiful, autumnal colours, Acer Rubrum is the perfect choice. Bring the magic to your garden today and order your Red Canadian Maple Tree.
