Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors beyond our control such as Public Holidays or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to lift bare-rooted trees. In cases such as these, you will be notified.
We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO boxes. A complete address including correct postcode must be provided. Incorrect postcodes cause more delays than omitting the postcode altogether.
Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for orders not received if an incorrect address is provided. It will also be necessary to give us details of where to place items should you be out when the delivery arrives. Mail-Order-Trees cannot be responsible for items lost if we have followed your instructions. A contact telephone number can also be very useful to our courier.
Honey Locust Tree, known scientifically as Gleditsia triacanthos ‘Sunburst', is a vibrant tree perfect for adding colour and light to your garden.
The 'Sunburst' variety is famous for its stunning golden-yellow foliage that emerges in spring, which transitions into deeper yellow and green shades as the summer progresses. Unlike other Honey Locust Trees, this variety is thornless, making it safer and a bit easier for gardeners.
Thriving in well-drained soil and preferring full sun, Gleditsia triacanthos ‘Sunburst' is fully hardy, making it a resilient choice for many different garden settings.
Honey Locust Sunburst has a light and airy canopy, that allows dappled sunlight to filter through, making it ideal for planting in areas where you want to create light shade without blocking too much sun.
Gleditsia Sunburst can reach up to 7 metres in height and 5 metres in spread over 20 years, making it a manageable size for most gardens. The tree has an open, spreading habit and grows to have a wonderfully rounded crown.
If you’re looking for a burst of golden-yellow colour from a resilient tree, then Gleditsia triacanthos 'Sunburst' is the perfect fit for your garden.
