Malus 'Chivers Delight' was raised by the famous Chivers family who ran a very successful jam-making factory at Histon in Cambridgeshire in the 19th century. The apples are golden yellow with a red flush and are medium sized. The apples are juicy with a sweet honey flavour and have a good, crisp texture. This is a good garden variety for all areas.
