The young leaves of this attractive tree have a broad soft- pink margin that changes white, often green at first. Acer 'Flamingo' is a fast-growing maple which makes an excellent specimen tree for a small to medium sized garden. For best results protect from harsh Summer heat and winds. This tree, which is a native of Holland, responds well to a hard pruning in early spring to achieve vivid foliage in late summer.
